Meet Kira
Hi, I'm Kira — the person behind Woof Waste (and probably the person who scooped your yard this week).
I started Woof Waste in 2024, and honestly, it wasn't the plan. I used to be a painter — completely different mess, completely different world. But I've always loved dogs, and I wanted a job that let me be outside, bring my own dog to work, and build a schedule around raising my kid instead of fighting one. So one day I traded paint rollers for poop bags, and here we are.
My dog Blue — yes, that's her on the homepage — comes with me on every single scoop. She's a Cane Corso, she's basically my coworker, and we always sneak in a fun stop or two between yards. It's the best part of my day, even on the days I walk through what feels like 50 spider webs in a row (summer in the Lower Mainland, I don't make the rules).
I've seen it all back there — a dead rat tucked in the corner of a yard, a pair of undies buried in a poop pile, you name it. Nothing surprises me anymore, and honestly, that's kind of the point: I want you to trust me back there. Your gate stays closed, your yard gets treated with respect, and your dog gets treated like Blue would want to be treated.
I'm not a franchise and I'm not a call center — I'm a local mom with a dog, doing a job most people don't want to do, so you don't have to. Thanks for trusting me with your yard.
